MaydaySpares presents at NERA Opportunity Knocks Program

During the first half of 2017, MaydaySpares participated in NERA’s ‘Opportunity Knocks’ program – a pilot program to assist small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to build their business value proposition and capability to engage with operators, contractors and service providers in the LNG supply chain. As part of the program, Perth based SMEs were given the opportunity to present their business or innovation directly to the industry representatives to stimulate a broader awareness of their capacity and capability.
The Opportunity Knocks program run by NERA was aligned to NERA’s goal of promoting greater collaboration to support the absorption of innovation across the energy resources sector.
The NERA Opportunity Knocks program was ideal for the rollout of the MaydaySpares concept. MaydaySpares.com is an innovative solution based on technology to enable industry to collaborate and share, within and across industry. When a problem strikes industry (a breakdown, a disaster, an incorrect order, a delayed order etc), the spare parts required to get your plant, process or equipment back on-line quickly may not be available to you when you need them, but they could be available to you from a competitor, a peer or like industry a lot closer to you than you think. By positing your MAYDAY on the MaydaySpares.com site, we post your urgent need (and anonymously if you desire) to our network of members, suppliers and groups. You now have a significant number of alternate supply sources in minutes compared to the current ways of working. You can register to use this service at www.maydayspares.com
